the daughter of the late Joseph Kennedy and the late Dorothy Moore. She was the wife of John Joseph Clarke. She was the mother of Christine (Garry) and Brenda (Wayne). Anne was the grandmother to Matthew, Brittany and Cowan. She was the sister of Ellard (Donna), Betty, Bill (Heather), Kathy (Dan) and Sally (Ray). Anne was the sister-in-law of Austin (Irene) and Catherine (Gary).

Our thoughts and prayers for the Pasch and Zacharias families on the loss of Eleanor on Monday, July 13. She was the wife of Percy Zacharias. Eleanor was the mother of Donna (Vital St. Aubin), Rob (Linda Blaskie) and Dale (Lisa Rea). She was the grandmother of Evelyn and Frank (Miranda), Emma, Martha and Thomas.

Our deepest sympathies to the Creighton family on the loss of Zella on Tuesday, July 14, at the age of 66. She was the daughter of the late William Creighton and the late Beatrice Pitt. Zella was the mother of Stephen (Chantal) and William “Bill”. She was the grandmother of Andrew, Laura, Meghan and Alexandre. She was the sister of Elton, Brenda, Courtney and Richard. Predeceased by a granddaughter Emma.

Again this past week we have set record highs in heat and humidity. The weather has been beautiful this summer but extremely hot.

Masks are now to be worn inside public places in Quebec. This went into effect on Saturday, July 18.

Beginning July 15 until further notice the Municipality of Shawville is asking to limit the use of water as much as possible for watering gardens, lawns, washing vehicles etc.
