A wonderful Christmas Parade of Lights was held on Saturday. It was a success. Congratulations to all who volunteered, were in the parade and the participants watching.
Sunday will be the second Sunday of Advent. Advent means “coming” in Latin. This represents Jesus coming into the world. Christians use the four Sundays and weeks of Advent to prepare and remember the real meaning of Christmas. Some people fast during Advent to help them concentrate on preparing to celebrate Jesus’ coming.
