We have received a couple of huge storms, hope everyone is staying safe as you shovel out.

A good Samaritan shovelled Mrs. Doreen Davis’s walkway after the snowstorm over the weekend. She tried to catch up with the person but was unable to. Mrs. Davis would like to thank this person for their act of kindness.

Happy 54th anniversary to Larry and Isabel Kluke who celebrated their special day on Feb. 6.

Our sympathies to the Horner and Smith families on the loss of Sharon on Feb. 8, at the age of 77. She was the wife of the late Dalton and the mother of Todd.

Our condolences to the Brown family on tne loss of Norma on Feb. 9, at the age of 85. Norma was the mother of Debbie, Timothy, Todd and Tracey.

Our thoughts and prayers for the Sheppard and Wilson families on the loss of Claire on Feb. 10, at the age of 98. Claire was the mother of Michael.

Our condolences for the Lance and Mayhew families on the loss of Brenda on Feb. 11, at the age of 73. Brenda was the mother of Stephanie, Steven and Stacey.

Our thoughts and prayers for the McGuire and White families on the loss of Joline on Feb. 6, at the age of 63. She was the wife of the late Daniel and the mother of Melissa and Chris.

On Monday, Mar. 3, the Municipality of Shawville will be hosting a second consultation on the housing project. It will be held at the Shawville Community Lodge, 244 Main Street, at 7 p.m..
