Happy belated 90th birthday to Joseph (Jerry) Picard who celebrated on Oct. 8. A family gathering was held outside safely and a good time was held by all.

Our deepest condolences to . . .

the Parent family on the loss of Ronnie David on Oct. 10 at the age of 58. Ronnie was the son of Idena and the late David. He is survived by Marilon (Randy Godin), Roberta (Bernie Bisson) and Billy.

The Municipality of Shawville and some Clarendon residents are advised to boil their water for at least one minute prior to consumption. The municipality thanks everyone for their continued co-operation.

Halloween will proceed in Shawville this year unless there are changes by the Province of Quebec. We are leaving this decision to parents and residents of whether or not to participate. We encourage those who participate to respect the health guidelines.

Stay safe everyone.
