Shawville Ford meets with local MP

On Nov. 27, Shawville Ford owners Robert, Heather and Curtis MacKechnie were invited to Parliament Hill by Pontiac MP Will Amos to discuss American-imposed tariffs on Canadian steel and aluminum. They were joined by the CEO of Ford Motor Company of Canada, Mark Buzzell. Heather said that the tariffs have cost Ford $1 billion since they were implemented in June. She added that this is the equivalent of $500 dollars per truck which Ford has not passed on to the customers.
