Sûreté du Québec officers seized more than 70 kilograms of cannabis in Bristol during a recent drug bust on Nov. 20.
The officers seized the cannabis as well as equipment used in the production of cannabis from a residence on Chemin 8th Line, said SQ spokesperson Marc Tessier.

A 46-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman were arrested for drug possession for the purpose of trafficking, as well as firearms offences.
The seizure was initiated as a result of a tip from the public.
