a difficult year for many, but I also know many mothers who have been the glue holding things together during the chaos and uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic. A big shout-out to all of you for being there for your families and working to keep a sense of normalcy during these crazy days.
Birthday wishes are going out to Sara Beer-Dowe who is celebrating today and to my aunt Marion Draper on May 13 and to Rori Richardson on May 14. Best wishes to everyone marking a special occasion this week.
Elementary schools have re-opened to in-person learning in our area this week. I’m sure it is a big relief to parents and students alike. Wishing all of them a great final leg of the school year back in their classrooms. We will keep our fingers crossed that this will have been the last interruption for them.
