Our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Erwin Mohr as he passed away on Feb. 27. Erwin was a hard working farmer who was well respected in our community. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of his loved ones.

We have made it to March, my friends. I hope all of the students, teachers, bus drivers, and school staff enjoy a great March break. It doesn’t feel so long ago, they were warning us of a long, dark winter ahead, made even more difficult by COVID-19. But now, we are knocking on the door of spring and those brighter days I keep talking about will soon be here. I know we are not out of the woods yet and it will feel very strange this March to not be celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in our usual way but with the vaccine roll-out finally underway, I have high hopes that the worst is behind us. Keep your chins up and enjoy the arrival of a new month with new promise.
