Happy St. Patrick’s Day to all. While I know the celebrations are much different this year, I hope everyone still puts on their best green and has a little fun. It sure was a different weekend in Quyon, with our traditional festivities at the Quyon Legion, Gavan’s Hotel and the Irish Tea all impossible due to COVID restrictions.
That said, it has been exciting recently to hear of many friends and neighbours being able to book their vaccinations now that the age is 70 and over in our area. I was especially grateful to be able to . . .
book an appointment for my mom. I am hopeful we are on the road to back to normal and that we will be able to return to our traditional St. Pat’s celebrations next year.
