Wasn’t that a beautiful few days of warm weather and sunshine we’ve just had? A perfect opportunity to finish up the last of the yard work, put up Christmas lights and just enjoy some fresh air outside before the cold weather hits again. I hope everyone enjoyed it.

other Legion members, all wearing face masks and respecting social distancing rules. Wreaths were laid in memory and in honour of our local veterans. It was a beautiful service and we so appreciate the Quyon Legion making this happen in a COVID safe manner. I was very sorry to hear on Sunday that Jeopardy! host and Canadian icon Alex Trebek passed away at the age of 80. Jeopardy! has been such a constant on our TV screens for many, many, years, and as Canadians we were always so proud of him, hosting the show with his dry wit and calm, pleasant demeanour. We will miss you, Mr. Trebek.
