I hope everyone found a way to enjoy Easter this year, even though it was a very different celebration than usual. Many of us are lucky to have ways of worshipping online, which is a great comfort. We watched church on Facebook Live both on Good Friday and Easter Sunday. It is so nice that many churches have found ways of connecting with congregations virtually.

We also connected with family via video chat and it was so nice to see all of my siblings, nieces and nephews. They were all very happy that the Easter Bunny was deemed an essential worker and they still received their treats.

I have belated birthday wishes going out to my cousin David Draper, as he celebrated on April 12, and to my uncle Paul Lucas, as he celebrated a big birthday on April 13. Happy birthday also to Andrea Young on the 15, to my uncles Laurie MacKechnie on the 18 and Reid Young on the 19, and also to Joey-Lou Baker on the 20. Best wishes to everyone celebrating this week.

As we head into another week of staying home as much as possible and social distancing from our friends and families, I hope everyone is doing well and hanging in there. Stay safe and stay healthy.
