You start to wipe a little corner where the dirt is quite evident. The only problem with that, is once you have cleaned the little spot, the rest looks worse; before you know it you have a major cleaning job on your hands. Nothing seems to ever be just a little job. It escalates. It’s worse than you thought. But, the change is needed.
It’s the same when we struggle with a bad habit, or an addiction. Our life can become an overwhelming discouragement but when we decide to make a change, like cleaning the little spot, other things will be uncovered. Keep going. It will be worth it. Freedom, is what God offers us and it’s available, by faith, one step at a time.
