An election for all municipal council positions is held every four years on the first Sunday in November in all municipalities in Quebec. On Nov. 7, Shawville residents will elect their new municipal council which is composed of the mayor and six councillors.
The municipality of Shawville will be holding its election for mayor and councillors on Nov. 7 at Dr. S.E. McDowell School from 9:30 a.m. until 8 p.m.
