Are any of your readers the descendants of the original pioneers? We at the Pontiac Archives are making a map of Clarendon pioneers using information from Bert Stark’s map and the map produced by Joanne Brownlee. On it we will put your first pioneer ancestor that came before 1900. If you know the date and location, that will help.
If you are interested in our pioneers, come to the presentation of Jelly Massee’s art techniques and the auction of a pioneer painting by her on Wednesday, Oct. 22 at 10:30 a.m.
