The Shawville Lionettes held their annual Christmas Cheer dinner at the Anglican Church Hall on Dec. 5, bringing out more than 100 people for food, fellowship and of course, a visit from St. Nick himself. Organizer Jane Hayes said that the dinner has been a tradition since 1972, and is a favourite in the community calendar. This year, entertainment was provided by Laird Graham along with family and friends.
