After nearly six months, the Eardley-Masham Road is finally open after several sections . . .
of the roadway were washed out in the Spring floods.
The road was washed out on April 19 and has been closed until work completed on Oct. 4.
A total of five culverts were replaced along the stretch – two were damaged in the floods while the other three had reached the end of their life cycle.
Additionally, several sections of the road were re-constructed and re-paved.
