Staff from local women’s shelter L’EntourElle teamed up with police to promote the White Ribbon Campaign to end violence against women on Nov. 29. Participants were at high traffic intersections in Allumette Island, Fort Coulonge and Shawville passing out ribbons for the campaign, which runs from Nov. 25 to Dec. 6, the anniversary of the École Polytechnique massacre in Montreal.
