The Municipality of Pontiac is now hiring for an abundance of positions that will need to be filled during the upcoming election.
With the election scheduled for Nov. 5, staff will be needed for a variety of roles, to ensure a fair and smooth process.

The MoP is hiring for scrutineers, secretary of polling stations, officers in charge of information and order, members for the board of revisers of the list of electors, as well as for people to be responsible for verifying voter identification.
Staff will be needed on either Nov. 5, the official polling day, or Oct. 29, the day of advance polling.
There will also be a need for staff between Oct. 14 and 26, for assistance with the revision of the list of electors. Staff will be needed for one day and one night in this period.
Staff will also need to attend a training session, running from 60 to 90 minutes, with a date to be determined. It is worth noting that once electoral staff have taken their oath, they cannot participate in partisan work.
Those interested should contact MoP director general and president of elections Benedikt Kuhn via email at kuhn.benedikt@municipalitypontiac.ca.
Interested parties are asked to include their coordinates, which position is of interest to them, and any relevant experience they may have.
