The Shawville 4-H Club recently hosted members from a Nova Scotia 4-H Club for six days of learning and adventure throughout the Pontiac and the greater Outaouais region.
Activities included visits to Apple Blossom Farm, Beck Farms, and The Little Red Wagon Winery, as well as square dancing and spending time with the residents of the CAP, a trip to Parliament Hill, and much more. Next month, Shawville members will travel to Nova Scotia to reconnect with their new friends.
Lyzanne Cuddihy, chaperon on the exchange, said the Shawville 4-H Club extends its sincere thanks to the Pontiac Agricultural Society, the Pontiac Agricultural Society Bingo Committee, the MRC Pontiac, André Fortin, 4-H Québec, and Starborn Farms for their generous support. Their contributions helped make this incredible opportunity possible for our members.
