A single-vehicle accident on Hwy. 148 in Luskville early Saturday morning sent a 36-year-old man to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

At around 4:15 a.m. emergency crews were called to the intersection of Hwy. 148 and chemin de la Rivière in the Municipality of Pontiac for a single vehicle that had left the road.

The highway between chemin des Plaines and chemin de la Montagne was temporarily closed while police conducted their investigation and was re-opened later that day.
