The Equity

Many years ago, I knit sweaters for my sons and even a complicated sweater for a relative’s daughter. When I decided to knit another little sweater recently, I found I had lost that skill. Thankfully I found an old book called Learning to Knit. And that is where I am. No use pretending. I’m back at the basics.

Sometimes, in life we can move onto a path that takes us far away from everything we knew was right and good. Our faith dwindles and we can barely recall those times when we were at peace with God and others. It’s time to begin again. It is never too late. God is in the business of healing our wounds, forgiving, and showing us the path to freedom and joy. Look up! The Lord is near.
