I have a cousin in the Maritimes and she is a woman of character and encouragement. While the clouds were still covering the sun today, she wrote, “It’s going to be a great day!” What an attitude! My dad was like that and I miss him still.

Our attitude doesn’t have to be based on our circumstances, because if it is, we might find ourselves miserable a lot of the time. Everything changes, sometimes from hour to hour but God never changes. He promises strength to face trials, encouragement that He is working good even in the worst situation and that He loves us beyond what we can comprehend. More than even our parents do or did. He is an ever present hope!
