I walk my pup on McCoy Road with a friend and lately I park my car at Bensons, a local car parts business.
On my way back I noticed that a truck had parked close to mine. Both vehicles appeared to be side by side. Not until I got closer, did I realize that they were not close at all. The distance gave the illusion, but reality changed my perspective.
It made me think. Often, as I rub shoulders with others, I might question why they behave as they do. The problem with that kind of thinking is, that like the vehicles, I cannot see into another person’s heart, so my perspective is off.
The best thing I can do, as I live in community, is to pray for others and leave the rest up to God.
