On Oct. 14, the Quebec government announced a further easing of restrictions for restaurants and bars across the province, taking effect on Nov. 1. Bars and restaurants will no longer have capacity limits. The space between tables can be reduced to one metre. Bars and restaurants can also return to regular business hours. Tables are now limited to 10 people per table.
Also on Oct. 14, the government announced that vaccine passports will be compulsory for people 13 years of age and older wishing to visit health care facilities, with some exceptions.

Regional active cases moved down slightly this week as the latest data shows 185 active cases (14,167 total, 13,760 recovered) as of Oct. 18, , down 15 from Oct. 11. There are eight hospitalizations at the designated COVID-19 centre in Hull, with four people in intensive care. The regional death toll stood at 222 total deaths reported in the Outaouais, and did not rise for the first time in a month.

- Sheenboro, Thorne: five or less (minimum one case)
