Nine firefighters from the Shawville-Clarendon Fire Department arrived at the scene of a car fire in Shawville to extinguish the blaze early Thursday morning. Fire Chief Lee Laframboise notified the SQ that the fire seemed to have suspicious origins. “Usually they don’t burn like that,” said Laframboise. “It just looked a little suspicious.” The SQ has launched a full investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
