Allison Corrigan called to let me know that he has a remote indoor/outdoor thermometer and that it registered the following temperatures since Thursday. Thursday was . . .
112 degrees Fahrenheit, Friday was 103 degrees Fahrenheit, Saturday was 99 degrees Fahrenheit and Sunday was 88 degrees Fahrenheit. Thank you to Mr. Corrigan for calling these temperatures in last week.
On Monday it was only 26 degrees Celsius and the rest of the week it is climbing back to the 30 degree Celsius readings again. We have been having heat wave after heat wave this summer. I am not sure if we have broken any records but it sure feels like we have.
