COVID-19 is affecting Sheen and area. The schools are closed, no masses were said this past weekend and above all, St. Patrick is going to have a very sad day. Most of the little pubs in Quebec, along with George’s Bar in Chichester, will be closed.

Birthday greetings and best wishes go out to Wilma Gagnon Picard on March 19 and Marie Paul Muldoon, Wayne Storm and my great-niece Emma Morin on March 23.

I would like to apologize to the residents of Sheen for the closure of the transfer site without notice. On Saturday morning, it was brought to my attention by the Assistant Fire Chief Glen Ranger that cleanup was necessary before using the drive through at the garbage bin. In order to avoid the ash getting into vehicles the decision was made to close it down for the day.

Again sorry for the inconvenience.

Also the mayor’s telephone number in the newsletter that was circulated in the tax bill is incorrect. I can be reached at 819-650-2413.
