Dear Editor,
About the weather, of all things. Not that I feel hard done by, since this winter has, so far, been much easier than last winter. It’s snow. I know, we had much more . . .
last winter; it came earlier and more often, piled up higher than it has this year. I get snow delivered in bulk to my front yard and the delivery is prompt, I seldom have to wait. I rearrange it by hand and this year, I’ve been able to put it where I want it before it melts or is over-run by another dump of whitewater crystals.
In the snowbanks lies my gripe. I’m sure some of the snowflakes I’ve moved are duplicates — not the infinitely unique flakes I’ve been told to expect. Duplicate snowflakes, what’s next? Will we be asked to take life one day at a time, rather than in the more convenient seven pack or even a 30-day carton?
I’m not sure what level of government to blame this upon, so I’ll put it before the public — will we stand for this outrage?
So that’s my gripe. Other than that, everything’s alright.
