Our deepest sympathy is with the family of Bunny Foran, as she passed away on Jan. 22. Bunny was a wonderful, sweet woman who will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Thoughts are with her loved ones at this sad time.
The Pontiac Provincial Tournament has been held over the past two weekends at the arena in Shawville drawing teams and fans from all over to the area. Kudos to the organizers and volunteers who contribute to hosting this tournament. Congratulations also to the Pontiac teams who competed, especially the Peewee A and Midget A Lions that won the championship in their respective divisions. Way to go.
