Dear Editor,
I hate when this happens but it’s better to deal with it than to ignore it. I let my opinions get ahead of my knowledge in my previous letter about the proposed landfill project at the Industrial Park. A fellow reader has given me information which sheds some different light on the subject.
I will find out more about what has been and will be developed at the site and write again, when I have more first-hand information.
Meanwhile, we should all remain vigilant when the long term quality of our environment is at stake, and all do our small parts to deal with the burden of waste we create. No matter where the garbage goes, it all comes from us — the humans of the world. No matter who owns the land, the air and water that pass through belong to us — the humans of the world.
