Deepest sympathy is extended to the Gibeault family as Joseph Gibeault passed away on April 2.
We are also thinking of the Hickey family as Tom Hickey passed away suddenly on April 10. Our sympathies are also going out to Dan Turner and his family as his mother, Fran, passed away on April 11.
Prayers are also extended to the family of Jim Howard, as he passed away on April 11 after a courageous battle with cancer. The community is holding all of their loved ones in our hearts as they mourn.
On Saturday, we attended the Easter Tea at Shawville United Church in support of Villa James Shaw. The sandwiches and squares were delicious and the candle in the squares in honour of my mom’s birthday was so nice. It was a lovely tea. Thank you to all involved in organizing it.
Belated 60th birthday wishes are going out to Ken Daley as he celebrated on April 13.
We are sending special birthday wishes out to my uncle, Laurie MacKechnie as he celebrates his 90th birthday on April 18. Cheers to Laurie from all of the family.
