Midget A Lions

The Midget A Lions had one game over the weekend. On Sunday, the team travelled to Aylmer to face off against the Vikings. The team got off to a slow start, which allowed the Vikings to capitalize and take the lead. With the Lions short two players from their line up due to suspensions, it took a while for the Lions to find their groove.

Bryan Tubman, brought up as an affiliate found the back of the net on an assist from Carson Rusenstrom to start things rolling. Second period action saw goals from Evan Atkinson (2), another one for Tubman and Harry Lukacs-Hitz. Helpers on the goals came from Harry Lukacs-Hitz, Jaden Stewart, Tyler Stanton and Hunter Lukacs-Hitz.

One more goal to confirm the win was scored in the third period by Harry Lukacs-Hitz with help from Stewart.

Next home game is Feb. 9 against the Aylmer Icebergs at 4:30.
