I am writing to compliment you on your well-written messages recently.
This past year I am delighted with your coverage and photographs of the Pontiac High School graduation. We should all be very proud of our graduates, who are wonderful young adults.
The story on Ellard Perry was so true and well written.

He walked the talk and was not ashamed of proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Only God (and maybe Kathryn too) knows what a generous man he was — freely giving his money and time to people and places that needed it. We are grieving his passing, but not without hope. The wonderful hope we have as believers in Jesus Christ is that we will all meet again.
Regarding the 4-H banquet: it was well reported with pictures and information, which brought joy to my heart to read about our possible future farmers. We live in a strong farming community with amazing farmers. It brings back to me some happy memories of the flourishing “Calf Club” of which I was a member, and enjoyed showing calves at the Shawville Fair many, many years ago.
