Adding to what has been an exciting year for hockey fans in the Pontiac, there will be another big day for local hockey action in Fort Coulonge.
The Fort Coulonge Arena will play host to the Outaouais Senior A Hockey League’s All Star game, set to take place on January 20.

The game will pit the south division, comprised of the Cornwall Prowlers and Vaudreuil Titans, against the north, consisting of the Pontiac Senior Comets, Mont Laurier Montagnards and the Maniwaki Forestiers. Players drafted to north division teams from the recently dissolved Cumberland Bandits team will return to play with the southern team.
Pontiac Senior Comets owner Danick Boisvert said he is excited and proud to be bringing this game to Fort Coulonge, adding that further details will be coming in the near future.
