Dear Editor,
Slaughterhouse Les Viandes du Pontiac Inc. is pleased to confirm that construction of the building is well underway. The installation of refrigerated panels began on Sept. 17 and the finalization of the installation of specialized slaughter equipment provided by RIOPEL is scheduled for mid-November 2018.

We are planning, therefore, by the end of the fall, to organize two open house days, one to be dedicated to breeders and wholesale customers and another that we call a citizen open house, where all Pontiac citizens will be invited to come and visit our new abattoir. We are planning activities for all ages and for young families, to start a new relationship for all Pontiac residents who would like to become familiar with our facilities. The date will be determined in the future.
For this year, the slaughterhouse will unfortunately not be able to serve our hunters for the fall hunting season, but we will be able to accommodate them for the 2019 hunting season.
For those who want to do business with Pontiac Meats for their animals, please contact Mr. Alain Lauzon by email, alain@abattoirdupontiac.com or by phone at 1 (819) 458-3653.
For all other questions please address them by e-mail to info@abattoirdupontiac.com or on our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/abattoirdupontiac/
