On Thursday, the birthday club met at the Waltham Station. The birthday girls this month were Roseann Rochon, Theresa Harkins and Betty Allard. Everyone enjoyed socializing, a tasty lunch and birthday cake.

On Sunday, there was quite a change in the weather. It was much cooler with no humidity. It was only three degrees Celsius last night. It is supposed to reach the mid-twenties by mid-week.
Birthday wishes are extended to little Logan Valiquette, son of Shannon and Tyler Valiquette of Orleans, Ont. who celebrated his third birthday on Sept. 7. Birthday wishes are also extended to little Gwendolyn Sinclair daughter of Carley and Rod Sinclair of Pembroke, Ont. who also celebrated her third birthday on Sept. 10.
The 34th Waltham United Church Homecoming Memorial Service will be held Sept. 16 at 2:30 pm. at at the little white church on Ivy hill. The ministry will be performed by Pastor Earl Wall and the music and singing will be provided by Earl and Cheryl Wall. A fellowship lunch will follow at the Waltham Town Hall at 4 p.m.
