There have been reports of bear sightings in Ladysmith lately. Grace and Viola Bretzlaff had a mother bear and three cubs in their barn yard last Monday at noon. Another sighting was near the Johnson Lake Road and again it was near noon. This was just one large bear crossing the road. There have been sightings of coyotes near Cawood road. Winnifred and Gerald Mielke were saying that they have seen two so far.
