On Tuesday evening and Wednesday, Old Man Winter made sure to let us know that he was still around. We had snow, freezing rain and very strong winds which made the roads quite treacherous.
We were saddened to hear of the passing of Michael Dunn of Nichabeau, Que. He was the beloved husband of Colleen (nee McDonald). Our heartfelt sympathy, thoughts and prayers are also with his children, grandchildren, siblings, family and friends at this sad time.
Larry and I had quite a busy weekend. Our granddaughters Bella and Mikaela along with their dance schools (Bella, CDE Dance Academy Pembroke), Mikaela, (La Maison Des Arts Embrun) participated in the Inspire Dance Challenge Competition in Gatineau, Que. They brought home Ultimate Inspiration, Platinum, high gold awards and overall awards. Congratulations to the dance teams. We are very proud of you.
On Sunday afternoon, our grandson Benjamin and his hockey team, the Atom C Casselman Vikings won the B pool gold cup. Congratulations to Ben and the hockey team. We are very proud of you.
Warm birthday wishes are extended to Pauline Pilon of Cantley, Que. who will be celebrating a birthday this coming week. All the best is wished to you Pauline and we hope that you enjoy your special day.
