As the village emptied of all the hunters this past weekend, we were graced with the presence of many families making their annual Thanksgiving visits. The beauty of the fall, the traditional turkey dinner with all the trimmings, the warmth of family and friends, such rich and binding traditions.
We gave thanks for our many blessings on Sunday, Jodi, Mike, Alex, Mikaela and Ben were up from Embrun. We gathered at Rhonda and Mark’s to enjoy a tasty turkey dinner. We were joined by Julie, Glen, Sarah and Ashlyn Mulvihill, and Sister Catherine Yantha.
Jessica Grieve, Jason Bisson and children Isabella and Sophia of Buck Lake, Alberta are visiting Jessica’s grandparents Betty and Earl Grieve, Jessica’s aunt Mary-Beth and husband Denis Goyette and family and friends. On Saturday afternoon, they all celebrated Isabella’s fourth birthday at Boston Pizza in Pembroke, Ont.
Angie, Danny Bechamp and children Olivia and Jack of Barrhaven, Ont. were weekend visitors at Lyne and Ray Bechamp’s. Danny and Jack were over to visit us on Saturday evening.
Belated birthday wishes are extended to Monita Marion, Tanya Kidd and Angie Bechamp who celebrated their birthdays on Oct. 7. We hope that you enjoyed your day girls.
