This past weekend, Elizabeth Ethier, her daughters Paulette, Connie and grandson Travis visited Aunt Libby’s brother Elmer and son Blaine Burine in Stouffville, Ont. They had a most enjoyable visit.

Waltham was saddened to hear of the passing of long time resident, Grace Allard (nee Carroll). Grace was the beloved wife of the late James Allard. Grace was a woman of great faith and had a deep devotion to St. Theresa. If anyone needed special prayers or a confidante, they would call upon Grace. Her number one priority was her family and she welcomed everyone into her home with open arms. Her nieces and nephews just loved her and gravitated to her. She enjoyed a good game of cards and being of Irish decent she was quite feisty at times. Because of her tiny frame some called her Little Grandma. Our heartfelt sympathy, thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends at this time. She will be truly missed.
