A cheery hello is extended to Sheila Dagg of Shawville. It was so nice to receive a call from you last week. We wish you a lovely day.

Our heartfelt sympathy, thoughts and prayers are with the Chaput family of Demers Centre in the recent passing of Aurel Chaput. He was the beloved husband of Madeleine (Demers) and the loving father of Lisa, Noella and Lila.

On Saturday evening, Rhonda, Jacob, Bella, Larry and I enjoyed dinner with Jodi, Mike, Mikaela and Ben at Irving Truck Stop. Afterwards, we took in a hockey game at the Pem Ice Two arena. Alex and his team the Eastern Ontario Cobras played against the Upper Ottawa Valley Aces. These two teams meet in regular competitions. It is always an intense effort on both sides. Both teams put out their best effort and the results are usually a close score. On Saturday night, the Aces edged the Cobras 3 to 2. We must congratulate both teams, their supporters, coaches and families. So much effort is made to bring these young players to games and practices. We wish them all a great play off season and great friendships that are all part of hockey.

Brenda and Ian Rehel are celebrating their wedding anniversary on Valentine’s Day. We hope that you have a romantic day.

Birthday wishes are extended to Frankie Turner, on Feb. 16. We hope that you enjoy your special day.

Happy Valentine’s Day, I hope that everyone enjoys some special time with their sweetie.
