On Saturday evening, we took in the Pembroke Santa Claus Parade. Bella’s CDE Dance Academy dance school had entered a float and the dancers danced in the street. The floats were amazing and it really got us into the Christmas spirit. We were lucky, as Mother Nature cooperated and the rain held off until after the parade.

What a change in the weather, last week on one particular morning, it was -27° Celsius with the wind chill and on Sunday it was 2° Celsius.

Warm birthday wishes to my dear friend Georgette Beaubien who is celebrating her birthday today. On Sunday afternoon, family and friends gathered at Georgette to surprise her and celebrate her birthday. Tasty refreshments and a beautiful birthday cake were served.
