Greetings dear faithful readers to a brand new year 2025. I sure hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year’s surrounded by the love of their family and friends. Our holiday season was filled with lots of get-togethers with family and friends. We spent time with Mike and Jodi and our Cornwall/Casselman family. I was happy to see all my siblings

Thoughts and prayers are extended to our dear friends Carmell and Ron Bartman, who had the misfortune of being involved in a car accident in Ottawa during the Christmas holidays. We hope that you are on the mend real soon.

We were saddened to hear of the passing of Jean Gallagher (nee Meehan) of St. Joseph, Que. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael (M.J.) Gallagher. Jean had taught school and was an active member of the C.W.L. for over 60 years. Our heartfelt sympathy, thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends at this difficult time.

We were saddened to hear of the passing of Glenn David Robert Scullion. Glenn and his wife Marlene were the former proprietors of Spruceholme in Fort Coulonge.
