We are experiencing a beautiful late summer season, with mostly sunny days with warm daytime temperatures and cool nights. I can not recall, similar weather in recent years.
On Saturday afternoon, a celebration of life was held in honour of Clarisse Cay Dupuis-Denault. It took place at the Waltham Town Hall. Family and friends gathered and reconnected and shared their memories of Clarisse. A tasty lunch was served.
On Sunday evening, our family attended St. Alphonsus Annual Parish Turkey Supper. The meal was delicious and it was nice meeting and chatting with good friends.
Congratulations is extended to Rolland Demers, of Sudbury, who was the lucky winner of the Residence Meilleur 50/50 draw and won $5,000.
Belated birthday wishes are extended to Tim Dempsey, who celebrated his birthday on Oct. 1 and to Pat Rehel, who is celebrating her birthday today, Oct. 2. We hope you both enjoyed your special day.
