I would like to send out my deepest condolences to the Morin family on the loss of Grace Morin on April 5 at the age of 62 years.

The silent auction held for Saint Joseph’s Manor in Campbell’s Bay was a complete success raising $18,291. What a great community we have between the donations of articles and the fantastic bidding.

I hope you all have a great Easter weekend and you have plenty of family and friends to celebrate it with. My cousin Bobby Mayhew and his girlfriend Rachel are arriving this Friday from Oshawa, Ont. and will be spending the weekend in the Pontiac.

I’d like to send out a speedy recovery to my son-in-law Carl Davidson after he underwent surgery last week. I was talking to him a couple of days ago and he’s doing well and is on the mend.

I saw my first robin on April 11 and she sure didn’t have a happy look on her face when she saw all that snow. Of course the geese have been coming for the past two or three weeks and filling the fields looking for food.

Our deepest sympathy to Vanessa Sloan and Jason Hewitson on the loss of their precious baby, Cole Jason on March 28. An angel taken too soon. Our hearts and prayers go out to you both and to all family and friends devastated by his passing.
