Our condolences and deepest sympathies go out to the Shea family on the sudden passing of Jim Shea of Aylmer, Que. He will be sadly missed by his wife Theresa and his four daughters, Ann, Karen Shea Gleason, Cathy and Lisa. On Canada Day in Sheen we could always count on Jim and Theresa showing up to volunteer. Their shift would be a minimum of four hours selling tickets at the park for the children’s games. His daughter and spokesperson for the family at the funeral held on Friday past spoke of her dad’s priority in life, “family and children.” His granddaughter, Anna Gleason, sang a solo of “How Great Thou Art.” The funeral was well attended and a full house for St. Mark’s Evangical Church.
Also our condolences and deepest sympathies go out to the Turner family of L’Isle-aux-Allumettes on the passing of Nancy Turner of Quyon, Que. She dearly loved the Octoberfest camping weekend with her brother Larry and Christine Turner.
Our deepest sympathies go out to the Keon family of Chichester, Que. on the passing of Pat Keon. He will be sadly missed by his wife Judy Lepine, sister Lois, sons Chris and Tyler and his little buddy Travis. He will also be missed by the Lion’s Club members of Chapeau. He was a true friend and neighbour to all. His funeral was held at St. Alphonsus Church, Chapeau, on Jan. 7.
