Our condolences and deepest sympathies go to the Gagnon and . . .

Nephin families on the passing of Patsy Nephin Gagnon of Allumette Island on Oct. 11. A funeral mass was held at St. Alphonsus Church on Oct. 19 and the reception was held at Harrington Community Centre immediately following the service.

Get well wishes go out to Ben Chartrand of Chichester, Que.

Birthday greetings and best wishes go out to Mary Edwards on Oct. 22, to my sister Debbie Vandereyk on Oct. 24, to Susan Campbell on Oct. 27 and David Prentice on Oct. 28

A reception was held in honour of Paddy Kilbride, dear friend and bus driver of Ireland on Sunday at St. Brigid’s Centre for the Arts in Ottawa. It was a meet and greet of the Irish tours from 2002 to 2019 organized by Rosemary O’Brien.

Being his third visit to Canada, Paddy reminded his hostess, Evelyn Sullivan, that he would like to just stay around Sheen, keep the visit low key and maybe get a rest from travelling. After three weeks in Sheen he is returning to Ireland for a rest, plans on going on a diet or purchasing some new clothes, since he believes he has gained a stone (14 lbs).

Just a reminder the Halloween dance in support of the Culbute Museum, Chichester Que. and the Lions Club of Chapeau and area will be Oct. 26.
