Our sympathies to the Fennell and Levesque families on the loss of Patricia on Aug. 16, at the age of 65. Patricia was the wife of Richard and the stepmother of the late Julie, Marc (Louise) and Jean-Paul (Carole).

Our condolences to the St-Pierre family on the loss of George on Aug. 20, at the age of 80. He was the husband of the late Juliette and the father of David (Molly), Julie (Daniel), Louis (Crystal) and Fred.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Hayes family on the loss of Bruce on Aug. 27, at the age of 75. He was the former funeral director at W.J. Hayes and Sons Funeral Home. Bruce was the husband of Darlene and the father of Greg (Christine) and Jennifer (John).

Our deepest sympathy to the Leach and Lepack families on the loss of Frances on Aug. 29, at the age of 99. She was the wife of the late Victor and the mother of Greg (Fern), Andy (Theresa), Mary-Ann (Allan) and Christie-Ann (Tony).

Congratulations to the Pontiac Agricultural Society and its volunteers on making the Shawville Fair a success. It is currently in its 168th year. Bravo.
