Our thoughts and prayers for the Lamarche and Morrissette families on the loss of Dr. Louis on Jan. 4, at the age of 78. He was the husband of the late Jo-Anne and the father of the late Marie-Isabelle. He was a doctor in our community in the 70s.

Our deepest condolences to the Gauthier family on the loss of Suzanne on Jan. 8, at the age of 57. Suzanne was the mother of Michael, Christine, Kyle and Derek.

Our sympathies to the Côté family on the loss of William on Jan. 10, at the age of 73. He was the husband of Margaret Ann and the father of Adam.

The Municipality of Shawville asks everyone to please keep your civic number clearly visible from the street.

They also ask that recycling be put in clear bags until the new bins are delivered to everyone. Please do not use new garbage bins for recycling.

The Shawville outdoor rink is ready to use.
