Deepest sympathies are extended to the family of Jeanne (Proulx) Aubin who passed away on Sept. 22 after a courageous battle with cancer. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Proulx family and all of Jeanne’s loved ones at this sad time.

This past Saturday, I took part in the Shawville Fall Street Market where I set up a table with my Watkins products. I admit that the rain had me skeptical, but it ended up being a very successful event with many people out enjoying the vendors and shops along Main Street in Shawville. Kudos to Jill McBane for organizing the market and to all who took part. I’m already looking forward to my next opportunity to share my Watkins business with others, at the Onslow Christmas Craft and Vendor Sale on Nov. 13. Be sure to mark your calendars.

I hope all of you enjoy a beautiful Thanksgiving with your families. We get busy and often forget all that is around us that we have to be grateful for. I always take this weekend as a reminder to take stock and count my blessings and I trust that you will too. Happy Thanksgiving.
